Lucy & Yak X Kirath Ghundoo

For my final major project, I decided to create a proposed collaboration between Lucy & Yak, one of my favourite clothing brands and Kirath Ghundoo, a surface pattern designer who had come to the University for an industry talk within my final year. Within my work you will find previous brand collaboration research, brand research into Lucy & Yak including where they sit in the market level, price comparisons and the customer profile. The final outcome consisted off: two proposed range plans with a curated pattern, a marketing plan explaining how the collection will launch and final packaging items which included a swing tag, returns slip, sari bag, paper bag packaging and biogradeable packaging.

Darkus Mini Magazine

In this student-led collaborative magazine, I honed my photography skills to create an image-based story exploring the themes of disco, the 1970s and the LGBTQ+ community. Darkus set a competition for students awarding the top five story concepts with a feature in the next issue. My concept came 3rd within the competition and can be viewed in Darkus 2020: Issue 1.

Paying close attention to the 7 Ps of marketing, I conceptualised a unique stationary brand that would encompass my love for colour, creativity and ideation for those, like myself, who struggle with dyslexia. This passion project was close to my heart and I am aiming to continue working on it.

The Embrace zine was the last module of my first year at university. I created a 12-page magazine based on blogger culture, cruelty free beauty and sustainable fashion.

Lucy & Yak Marketing Proposal

Lucy & Yak Marketing Proposal

This marketing concept was developed to aid the sales and customer journey for sustainable fashion brand Lucy & Yak. This brand is always aiming to achieve the highest standards of ethical and sustainable clothing production while also providing a wider sizing range than most fashion brands. Hoping to decrease return rates and improve customer satisfaction, I conceptualised an AR (augmented reality) app in which customers could virtually try on items of clothing before purchasing and also introduced a reward scheme for loyal customers.
